Where is the fucilbre of stop lights? Posted by manual-mecanica
Greetings ...

My problem is as follows:

The Stop Luce remained on, I did not understand why and then I discovered a switch on the brake pedal, and I had lost the plastic part that presses it, when I was about to repair this switch, I mean placing the part that presses the switch, the Stop lights went out and I want to know if you have any fuse or how I can solve the problem. They are not burned and now when the brake is not lit ...

Note:
My car is a Honda Civic 94 dx

giving it in advance ...

Anyway, if the fuse is not burned and the lights are not lit, it is very possible that you have poorly regulated or broken the brake pedal switch, since you comment that you put a piece of plastic but that you have not changed it to a new one.

It is possible that even if you step on the brake, the contacts do not close and therefore the lights do not turn on. To test whether it is the switch, just put the contact and bridge the connector terminals to see whether or not the brake lights are lit.

All the best.
