Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Corsa does not start
What year is the car? I need to know to tell you more accurately the probable cause.

If it is relatively modern (we talk about 96, 97 onwards) it is possible that the failure is motivated in the antenna in the starter lock and whose mission is to recognize the starter key every time you put the contact.

It is the anti -theft immobilizer, and its mission is to know when the original car key gets and when you are trying to start by making the bridge or with a strange key. For this, the key has a chip that receives the signals from the same starter lock. That chip prepares the signal and returns it, the starter lock antenna receives the transformed signal and determines whether the code is correct or not.

If it fails, it does not recognize key and therefore does not start, but usually if this happens, a yellow sneak is lit in the control box with the key symbol, or the engine's breakdown witness ignites.

If we are talking about an ancient car, it is possible that the ruling has the same switchboard since it is inside the cabin, it is possible that more than the account and fails.

All the best.

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Corsa does not start
Hello thanks for the help The Corsa is model 97 has a chip for CNG turns on the injection light but it is normal in the Corsa when they have CNC,
when the immobilizer is activated, you should not deactivate it with the scanner or with the key it is activated again from now

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Corsa does not start
Jodio did not tell me that I was wearing gas !!

The anti -theft immobilizer is activated every time you put the contact, if the key of the key is correct because it allows you to run and run and if not ... you stay on the ground Jaaja.

Now, if the anti -theft immobilizer is broken, it emits an error code through the fault light (Check Engine) and leaves it permanently lit as a sign that something happens. (What I did not know is that when carrying gas the little look would already be on).

To see the breakdown memory without having to go to the workshop to pass the scanner:

1º Go to the fuse box of the cabin to look for the diagnostic terminal, if it is 10 terminals (such as the drawing), you can read the memory of breakdowns without the Tech-1, if not, it is time to put the scanner.

2º With the contact removed, bridge the terminals A and B and then put the contact. The fault light will begin to flash, first it will give a series of short flickers in a row, then a small pause and then another series of short flickers in a row, long pause and start again.

The fault code will be represented by a two -digit number. The first group of flashes represents the tens and the second the units.
