Well ', I have a problem, I downloaded the Fiat manual to see how it is electronically but I lack knowledge to understand it.
My Fiat Stilo's green screen has lost sharpness and I barely see the numbers or notices of City, oil, etc.
In the Fiat house they tell me that you have to put a new piece that costs 200 euros plus labor (about 300 euros) ... something like a LED or some of that .. but I find it hard to believe them because they always go to the beast not to fail.
I think it can be some insignificant piece but that you have to know what it is ... They tell me that they have to take out the box in the marker to reach the screw, if you can help me I would appreciate it,
greet

They have passed 1 day, the sun has come out and after being to the sun I have started and the screen is impeccable, a sample + of the little confidence that Fiat works workshop here in Cartagena, now I have the screen fully nitid, it will be a problem of moisture or something, we will see over time

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Green screen Stilo 2004 (has lost sharpness
It is easy to have to do with the ambient temperature and moisture, the liquid crystal increases the contrast as it is hotter and the time is drier, to the point that if you leave your mobile or a clock or calculator in the car in the solo, the screen becomes totally black until it cools.

Greetings and I hope that is the breakdown.

Hi Davilovigaro, as always megababat_1 is correct, temperature and humidity affect these pastellas in a very important way, if you already take the most caused thing it is not good to pass and if it does it will be in a much greater time, now if it happens again it turns on the air conditioning or opens all the windows and you will see how it is fixed, I have seen it in Peugeot and No LED that directly illuminates these screens are like clock or cell phone, the LED illuminate other intimates, but I emphasize that for example the Peugeot and especially the 206 when it is very hot and signage towards one of the sides the high lights are lit and with cold there is no problem, in addition the signs stick and when you step on the brake do not funeate, strange things of the electronics.
