ECUs published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello, I have a problem in a Peugeot 306 1.6i gasoline, I have changed the calculator for a scrapace because the one I carry gives me a failure (pulls and rare things in the painting, as for example it is put only to zero the partial account-kilometers) I have put one of scrapping and does not start the car, it can be by the key I could encode it or I have to take it to the house. All the best.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the topic Re: ECU
Hi Edute, Mira Peugeot is a slightly complicated brand, I do not advise the change of ECU in any case and less for Ecu de Desguesses, now in any case you will have to take the vehicle to a workshop where you have a Escnner to be able to save the problem, both of the Biejo and the new computer and if you want I am interested in what was your original problem with the old ECU, when buying in them you have to be very careful because there are vehicles that are the same model of the same year and everything but the ECUs work with different systems, the case is given a lot, but for your tranquility a good scanner, not necessarily that of the house, can erase the codes of the ECU and the vehicle will work correctly, I tell you because I repair a Peugeot 307. The problem of this vehicle was that I did not raise speed and shit, an irregular relief and pulls in the walk, in addition the instruments went crazy and the car tended to stop or accelerate, when I put this car to my scanner I threw me, like 10 error codes, cutting injectors, short coils to mass, EGR valve, tps and others, erase the memory and supply it, it never failed it, it is never necessary to fail. for example I charge around 20,000 to 25,000 Chilean pesos. Eye that prescribing the computer is not the same as deleting fault codes.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the topic Re: ECU
I completely agree with Kikemec, you should not change the ECU without knowing first whether it is the culprit or not of the problem, one does not go to the pharmacy to buy coloring pills just in case any good, I first assure me what happens to me and then act, because this is the same.

In the first place, when one changes the ECU, whatever the cause, you have to configure the keys because the anti -bar module does not correspond to the one before. This work is easy for you to do it in the Peugeot because not all workshops that have a diagnostic machine can access the keys.

On the other hand, you will also have to put the diagnosis to see if you have an ancient fault code of the other car or new of yours memorized (which is why the car is possible to go wrong). If you have any fault code, you have to proceed to access, identification, repair if necessary and deleted.

So it is easy for the switchboard to get a little expensive and that it is more profitable to go with the original car's Ecu to a workshop to see what happens to the car.

All the best.

Thank you very much Kikemec and Megabeat 1, I had to have put me before in the forum, I have already taken the car to a workshop that I think will be the best in this type of faults. Thank you.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the topic Re: ECU
I agree, in 99% of cases the ECU is not broken, it is rare, therefore the pulls would have to look for it on the other hand, in addition if you change the ECU you have to code it. Listen to me look spark plugs and cables, temperature sensors and bad some empty tube that is broken, but because you say you have problems in cables or ignition coil, fixed.
