If you did not see the cables, it is most likely that it has a coil ramp like the Peugeot, they usually bring three 10 or 8 mm head screws, you only take them out and remove the ramp under it are the spark plugs, the spark plugs,

The 1.6 and 1.8 KIA have been on DIS, that is, it will carry two square coils from which the four ignition cables come out below the plastic cover, aligned and put in some channels so that they pee and do not macate with the lid.

You have to remove the plastic lid above and you will find the spark plugs right in the middle of the cylinder head, the coils will be on the right as you are in front of the car.

The cappuchones come out hard that you shit so if you can pull them with some stinging pliers back to those who have put some rubber tubes on the tips so as not to damage the capuchones you will save you quite a long time, and some blow unintentionally.

The spark plugs are very deep so to take them out or you have a long spark plug key or with a carraca briefcase, the 16 long nozzle and the prolonger can take them out.

To put them (the question is to put ... hahaha) It is best to put the spark plug in the nozzle since it will be fastened with the rubber inside and screw it with the help of the long extension and with the hand until it is fully bump into a butt, then you throw with the carach 1/4 back more.

NGK BKR6ES-11 spark plugs, electrodes separation 1.0 m/m. Do not mount others if you are not sure that they are compatible at reference crosses.

All the best.

Excellent answer, I know, I managed to change the spark plugs, a coil connects to cylinder 1 and 4 and the other coil connects with the 2y3 cylinders.
thank you
