Peugeot 205 GL published by Manual-Mecanica
I have a Peugeot 205 GL Model 1996, walks Barbaro, but when it has less than 1/4 tank the engine starts to stop, when I fold, the mechanic told me that the tank had nothing wrong, but it does not know what it can be. And does not seem to change the bomb without being sure what the problem is.- Why can it happen?

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Peugeot 205 GL
Although the mechanic tells you that the car deposit is fine, you have a small problem, as small as a hole in the fuel suction tube inside the tank, so that it behaves like a flute, when the tank is emptied below the hole, it begins to take a breath through it (it is easier to suck air than liquid).

When taking a breath, the bubbles go to the filter and the food circuit of the car, and depending on whether it is diesel or gasoline will present greater or lower problems to the point of stopping and needing technical help to put it back in the case of diesel.

You have to disassemble the registration plug of the agor, which is located below the rear ascending, and examine it carefully to see the state of the fuel suction tube.

All the best.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Peugeot 205 GL
I think the problem is the same or in the pump or in the fuel pond, if the tank has no damage for example a blow that aya deformed it, as I spend with a Ford Escore that marking a pond room the vehicle does not go, and it was because I had a abollon the tanue that I was just under the float and kept the leg of this marking when I really did not have fuel I gave me that same problem that you have, take out the pump and surprise a pump adapted and it was shorter as they did not lengthen the hose did not even suck the fuel to embiant it, or it can be what Megabeat_1 says, anyway you will have to remove the pump. luck
