A knit pisola, or a strobe lamp, for me it is easier to uncover the distribution and use the marks, another way you can use is to crusate ranking valves in one, suvir piston to the upper dead point and coves it follows it.

It depends a little on the system, but in reality the PMS you can put it by hand by turning the crankshaft without a leaf Peugeot, Renault and Citroen, the 1 is the one of the box not of belt.
As for the lamp you can check the point and launch or delay with the distributor's Avans, only in ancient cars.
