Problem Caudalimetro Seat Ibiza Year 2001 TDI published by Manual-Mecanica
Good morning.

I am new in this mechanics, and I have had a problem with my Ibiza TDI 100.
It turns out that the car lost me power and did not accelerate, it cost him a lot, so I took it to the workshop they put my computer and gave failure of the caudalimetro. 250euros + labor, I told the workshop that Jopdido de Pelas was.
I looked on the Internet and I saw that it was easy to change so I have continued with the broken one in what I bought the piece, but the other day according to it I stopped suddenly and I have not been able to start it since then.

It can be just from the flow. Or it can be something else.

thank you so much

Hello, those caudalimetters fail a lot, it is one of the most sought after pieces in the scrapping, which I do not advise you since that of another car can be in the same state as yours.
Mounting it is very easy only are two flanges, but you will not be able to erase the fault codes, so you will be at the same point as at the beginning.
He who stops has me bewildered, enjoyable to be disconnected. Normally in breakdown it takes defect values and does not work correctly but works.
Try first to change the caudalimetro in a workshop, more than anything to erase the fault codes, the workforce of changing the maximum flow must be 0.5 hours.: Cheer:

Thank you very much, Daniel.

What did not stop before the car was like whistles when it accelerated, it could be that the turbo has broken and so it does not start?

Thank you very much again

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Problem Caudalimetro Seat Ibiza Year 2001 TDI
Hello again, I do not think the breakdown is from the turbo because when a turbo bursts, the oil is passed to the engine, with which the engine accelerates a lot and pulls an impressive smokera through the exhaust pipe. That is a breakdown is very expensive, when a turbo begins to leave a whistle sounds every time it enters, but do not worry, I know people who have been circulating more than two years.

I hope your breakdown will be solved, you will tell me.
All the best.: Cheer:
