Hello friends, from Argentina, I have a VW Suran Diesel SDI 1.9, year 2008, with 30,000 km
at 1,600 rpm presents a fault, a pull in the engine, I took it to an injection workshop, they placed the scanner but did not accuse any fault.
This fault that when new was almost imperceptible, has now been accentuated.
In the injection workshop they told me that the EGR system (exhaust gas recirculation) was working badly, which this fault makes the exhaust gases enter excessively the already future engine this will damage the engine.
Is it possible that this problem appears in such a new engine?
The EGR system apparently has a bulb or sensor that if the system does not work, it should turn on the dash light that accuses any fault, the classic orange engine image.
On the other hand, today I took the oil lid that goes on the valve cover with the engine in idle and working temperature and there was excessive gassee, perhaps that can indicate the anomaly of the EGR, perhaps they are exhaust gases that are in the upper engine of the engine.
I have worked a lot with conventional engines, but with EGR system the truth is not.
I also know that the rotary pump is commanded by an electronic platelet, which may be causing the fault at 1,600 rpm, the strange thing is that the scanner has not given any error.
If someone has experience with this problem, I will thank you very much if you throw a help.
Thanks, a hug
Luis
