SYMPTOM: The vehicle loses power, walks as with obstructed escape, and you have to revolutionize it a lot to grab speed.

Problem: tightening of the central bolt of the incorrect Damper.

Solution: Tighten the Damper with the corresponding torque.

This is a design problem, the crankshaft key is harder than the crankshaft and that the Damper, the wear produces a game in the Damper that the superior dead ditch reader carries, by this rush the point is delayed, the point is advanced, a solution re -apprehens with a bolt trave.

Hojo: In extreme cases it is so much this wear that it is revealed to rectify the tip of the crankshaft and the draft of the pulley chavetero, and create a less hard key.

It also occurs in some PSA engines when the distribution is put incorrectly and mounted, so you have to mount the damper hitting it with a nylon hammer until the end and then press the torque

And I remember a few VW Golf TDI 90 CV, who always say some that is the injection, and that goes, it is the key and the doll that as you say of Opel, they also left, and much more than it seems.

and also in the 90CV TDI golf. And some more of the VW group happens to them and slow down making many believe that the problem is injected and not. The remedy is more or less as you have said, retaling a new key and reviewing the crankshaft doll, it is not useful to change the pinion, it is a pod, such, that some prefer to change crankshaft ...
