Hello friends, a question, my 1987 jetta carburetor does not fuel in the gasoline sple, I close it completely and nothing happens with the revolutions, instead the air is normal, if there are changes, what can I do, or what is it, can help me, in advance thanks and greetings ....
Hi Josroa, if you close the gasoline needle and "it does nothing" it can be that the cone does not close because the seat is deformed or has dirt and still passes fuel, another is that if you have the air butterfly open to the idle, the fuel is going through another drill and even if you close the gasoline needle "do not regulate". Remove the gasoline screw and clean the tip of this and blow to clean the carburetor hole (where the screw goes) in case there was dirt, reapprieizes the lid and the base of the carburetor.
