Hello, how are I a little question, will it be someone? I want to change the distribution chain of a Grand Vitara and I want to know if it is the same that changing a distribution strap and I want to know if the tensioners of that chain are hydraulic

Dear, the principle of the chain and the distribution strap is the same. Remember that there are adjustment marks on piñones and chain have an eye with that so as not to cause serious damage to your engine. With respect to tensioners in most are hydraulic. Remember that to guarantee a good job you must change the entire kit (slide, pine nuts, chain, seals etc.) in the face of any doubt. luck
