I do not think it is the thermostat but if you have doubts, just take it out and the vehicle without thermostat and out of doubt, I think it can go for the teaching module.

With all due respect I do not see any relationship with the water pump, verify whether the papalote from the top of the carburetor that closes when the engine is cold opens when the engine is already heating, this papalote moves with a thermostat that the carburetor has on one side, I hope I help you my comment.

The other is that my golf is platinum, but Porke fails me when the TMB car is heated. I put the new coil. Spark plug cables, and I don't know anything else. thank you
