Ford Fiesta 1997 heating published by Manual-Mecanica
Good morning, I have a 1997 Ford Fiesta, LX, 1.3 Naftero engine, usually does not present major problems but notice that if I start working non -long hot air, the air that pulls is cold, the command has 4 speeds and barbaro works. This model has no air conditioning. It is also strange but I spend a couple of times that without giving speed to the command, just letting between the hot air through the nozzle enter hot but it was momentary.
If someone can give me information on how to solve it and if possible an electrical or mechanical scheme that helps me to do so would be 10 !!!!!
I want to highlight that I ask this because my experience is almost zero and there with some scheme I can better orient myself.

Greetings, Raul

Raul looks in the radiator, thicker where the fan is in the left corner below, looked from the driver, there a white resistance with two Czech cables that are connected and the other Czech that is in good condition the resistance itself.

Within the habitaculus of the car there is a dissipator through which hot water circulates that is the same that circulates through the motor of the vehicle. This dissipator is located in the central front of the car that most or less locates you is where the central air outlet nozzles are behind and below is said dissipator. The most common thing is that the mechanism from the knob that selects the temperature to the valve that opens and closes the liquid circulation is broken. It can be in the sector of the temperature selector (not the fan) the selectordel which you upload the temperature, it is connected with a steel cable that commands the valve which is normally near the dissipator or in the vain motor. Therefore it is in the selector, the command cable or the circuit closing valve. In other cases it may happen that by not using it followed by the refrigerant fluid together with vestiges of corrosion geocasion that in the valve sector it is sealed and does not allow liquid circular. The solution is not complex even if the location and disarmament of these pieces are precisely what I would say the temperature tank. I would tell you that you throw yourself on the floor (it is not suitable for people in bad physical conditions) and verify that the command cable is worked while toured the temperature key should move the other end with the valve if it does not do it is the command on the board or the cable cut if instead the valve moves, then it is likely that it is damaged or covered. To remove it, I will take work for the position in which it is sure. In some models this is simplified because they are in the motor sector and it is easier to arrive. Keep in mind that if it is inside the car when replacing it will spread the engine coolant inside the habitaculus. Greetings and luck

This models what usually fails is the valve that regulates the motor refrigerant liquid to heating, this is electric and is frequently spoiled in these cars, it is placed in the engine part, just below the windshield wiper, if you lift the hood, two pipes are clearly seen that go to the cabin, just where they finish this valve, it is of black plastic And a plug with two cables, looks very good and is easy to change, to check it you only have to put the heating to the maximum and touch the pipes by the back to see if they are at the same temperature as in the part of the engine, if they do not heat up the same will be spoiled
