When brand failures in gear relationship at a certain speed, it is usually mechanical failure. Did you check the double drum? In this drum applies forward /direct that the applications influences 3rd and 4th. Check this drum very in detail because they crack and it is very difficult to detect the fissure. Also inspect the status of the pistons working in this double drum.

Luck !!

You were in the right partner one of the pistons had a damaged league and escaped the press

Good morning, I found this forum looking for a solution, lower the CD4E transmission of a mystique 99 for leak repair, it did not fail, it was completely repaired, change of stamps, leagues, pasta, etc., when checking the drum of direct force found wear inside caused by a pressure ring and changing the drum for one in a better state, when setting up the transmission and prove And safe and 3rd and 4th no longer, just verify harnesses, PCM signs and well, now I see that it is possible that the drum has been bad or cracked.
To ensure that this is before lowering the transmission, how can I check if the drum has any problem and it is nothing else?
They comment that it is possible to lower the double drum by the pump, is it correct?
greetings.

Hello king, did you put the same theme in Foromecanics?
After a lot of analysis for a couple of weeks, and before sending to disarm, apparently when those 2 codes, P0733 and P0734 are gathered in a CD4E box, if it is not a solenoid problem, everything leads to leagues/direct piston stamps damaged. If the second works well, then we would have to rule out problems with the fourth related to other clutches (the second and fourth work similar, with the drive of the second and fourth band by the Servo, but in the fourth the modulation by the PCM of the Torque converter valve is added, for which a certain oil pressure is needed), even more if after doing tests it is seen that the lock is seen. What I ask you is the following: the leagues you changed were broken or cracked but without cutting? Was the internal or external league, or both? In the image we see the direct 965 piston and the internal and external leagues 336 and 337.
