RP engine, MONO-JETIRONIC BOSCH INJECTION SYSTEM, catalyzed.

The first of all is to look if you have any memorized fault code, for this you have to go to the fuse box that is on the left of the pedals. There must be a black-yellow cable with a black terminal, this cable is under the fuses.

In that terminal you have to plug a cable with a switch so that when you press the dough circuit, you also have to put in the cable that connects the switch and the black terminal a LED diode connected to a positive battery.

To access fault codes:

1º Remove the contact, then connect the cable with the switch to the diagnostic terminal.

2º Connect the LED diode between the battery positive and the test cable.

3rd start the engine and leave it slowed down (if I didn't start, turn for six seconds) and leave the contact on

4th Press and hold the test cable switch for at least 5 seconds and then release.

5th The LED diode will begin to flash repetitively. (The fault code consists of four figures ranging from 0 to 4. Each figure is represented by short impulses in a row, between figure and figure there is a small pause and between code there is a long and a half second pause.

Once the repairs have been carried out, disconnect the battery or the engine control module connector for at least 30 seconds to erase the fault codes and registered Lambda control codes. Then perform a road test so that the control module can learn the basic values ​​and record new failures if any.
