Chevrolet left front wheel noise published by manual-mecanica
I have a problem and it is an annoying noise that is felt in my Chevrolet Optra year 2007:

it sounds like a "clock" or "crug", does it when it leaves in 1st, by making change to 2nd and also when braking and accelerating again, for example, to spend some jump. Not so when I'm going faster.

The noise only listens to sometimes is not continuous and only appears when leaving in Primera and when passing to second with the right wheels. Check the brake pill and have no visible problems ...

also when I turn to the right also sounds quite ugly ..... when I bend in a closed curve it does not sound, only in little required simple curves, this noise feels them as in the center of the motor ....

what can it be? thank you.

Look if the noise appears when you brake your problem is the shock absorber, I pass with a Toyota Tercel, now if this is not the case you would have to check the bearings of the front masses and the state of the Palier axle. The triceta may be damaged. But I think yours is tracera traction so most likely, it is a malfunction of the shock absorber, tell me any thing, so that we solve the problem,

Check the front bearing of the masses may already be damaged

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Noise left front wheel Chevrolet Optra
Estimated, again, they spent a few weeks after my mechanic I apply lubricant W-40 throughout the front train and returned the noise, tried again with W-40 but it does not work, I went to another mechanic and told me that they were the cushions plus the cassette and their bearings, change the 2 front shock absorbers the 2 guns Or some tray bushing .... Now after changing shock absorbers, bowl and bearing, I have another noise when turning the steering wheel that comes from the spiral with the bowl, the mechanic tells me that it is because the spiral must get used to the new stroke ... It is true or will have been badly installed ,,,,, told me to try it a couple of days in case the noise 2 disappeared. I hope you can help me again.

Greetings.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Noise left front wheel Chevrolet Optra
Hello, diagnosing a vehicle without seeing it is very difficult, but from what you have I am inclined to think that the first noise, when you leave first, is due to the brake pads, many times they will love due to dust and water. The brake pills take off from the disc due to its movement.
My advice is that the brake and clean pills are removed well where they are attached to the clamp (skates) and that you catch it preferably with copper fat, much more temperature resistant. Be very careful that it does not fall on the pills.
The second noise in the central part of the engine is that it is very likely that it is an motor support.
And if when changing the shock absorbers, when you tour it makes noise the easiest is that they are poorly mounted, my advice is that you take it to the workshop and tell it, a poorly mounted shock absorber is dangerous, in addition to the irregular wear of the tires.: Cheer:
