Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Prolble of Unit 4WD D-Max Diesel 3.0
That truck has some sensors similar to the retro light switches to indicate the situation in which it is to the transfer control ... I imagine that your problem is that the witness is being lit even when the transfer switch is disconnected.
The first thing you have to do is make sure that the transfer is not connected ... Upload the 4 wheels in the air and have with the engine on that they turn forward in 1st and the transfer selector in 4h or 4L and make sure that the 4 wheels turn if it does not do so means that the transfer clutch is not working or in its defect the control solenoid but if it does so there is no problem. Now connect the transfer switch in 2h and check that when putting change and making the vehicle go, they are only working the rear wheels, if they still do the front it may be that the selection switch is damaged or also that some of the position sensors of the pinions or the transfer clut Based hate just changing it

I was already checking and there are 4 sensors that you should check all are in Transfer Box 2 report on the position of 2 or 4 wheels and two others are the ones that report if the box is neutral or not, in the transfer box the actuator engine also has 4 terminals apart from those that I told you before if one of them gives signal to the TCM in addition to 2h when the drive switch can be in 2W. That the check is turned on I hope this helps you. We expect your answer
