Nissan has presented the Nismo #jukeride . In collaboration with Motorsport fans from all over Europe and the former Formula 1 driver Johnny Herbert, Nissan will manufacture an advanced JUKE equipped with his own Skycam helicopter, designed to help the team of young Nismo to improve their pilot benefits and to place the followers in the center of the careers action.
Fans, through social networks, can also choose the final name of the vehicle, which will be decided during the manufacturing process. This car will continue the innovation opened by Juke Box , the final mobile sound system, and the juke-r , which combines the mechanical power of the GT-R with the Nissan Juke .
The project will be led by Johnny Herbert , with the support of an apprentice team and the great virtual community of social networks. The car will adopt the latest technology such as Skycam , a remote control helicopter that will be based on the roof of the car. The Skycam , equipped with cameras, will provide a unique point of view, as well as data from the high precision environment, including the surface of the asphalt, air and trajectory analysis to monitor all car movements.
Nismo pilots to analyze their performance, improve their driving and get to know their limits on the wheel. The Skycam will also record unique content in the races offering fans access to unpublished perspectives so far and bringing them much more to the center of the action.
Fans will be able to provide ideas on Twitter using the hashtag #jukeride . With the ideas received, Johnny Herbert will work together with a team of ten apprentices who will actively participate in the manufacturing process using technologies such as Google Hangouts and their own followers networks to determine the technology used in the vehicle, as well as put the final name. Johnny presented the project in a video posted on the Experience Nissan .
