Acura has presented a new prototype, Acura MDX and a new concept of Aca NSX Motor Show in Detroit in 2013.

The MDX prototype is characterized by the adoption of a front grill and some LED headlights that represent the design of the next generation of the Acura brand. Its shape gently and elegantly evokes a current of air. The new MDX prototype reduces vehicle height by 1.5 inches, maintaining ample interior space.

ACURA MDX prototype achieves a high torque and an excellent fuel economy with a new 3.5-liter V6 engine of direct injection SOHC I-VTEC ®. The improvements in acceleration and driving comfort have been achieved through a new front and rear suspension system and a light and light chassis. Acura plans to produce the new MDX 2014 at its Alabama plant and introduce it to the US market in mid -2013.

For its part, the new concept for NSX Deportivo improves its efficiency and performance. This model includes the new generation of V6 VTEC direct injection engines and the SH -AWD ® hybrid system (Super Handling - All Wheel Drive ™), which optimizes both driving performance and fuel economy. The outer redesign adopts a more dynamic, clean and modern style. It is a lower and width vehicle. The interior design, developed under the concept of "Cockpit Human Support", offers excellent visibility and an intuitive cabin that allows the driver to concentrate on driving.

The SH-AWD ® hybrid system is characterized by an all-terrain electrical conduction system that combines the engine with a recently developed dual clutch transmission (DCT) and two electric motors that boost both front wheels independently.

The Honda original torque control system allows independent control of the distribution of the torque to the front wheels to generate the necessary torque to take the curves without depending on the engine power. This system saves fuel, while the driver enjoys dynamic acceleration, possible only with a supercar model.

In addition to these novelties, Acura announced its sales plan in the US for the new 2014 ACURA RLX 4x4 , which was first exhibited in the Los Angeles Motor Show in November last year. Sales will begin on March 15 of this year and the departure price will be $ 48,450 (taxes not included).
