Volkswagen has presented its first fully electric vehicle: the new e-up! The four -seater vehicle operates without emitting practically any noise and has a driving autonomy of 150 km.
The e-up! It is an urban daily use vehicle, but it is also ideal for daily travelers or as a second car, since the e-up! It has an autonomy of 150km and can be recharged up to 80% of its energy storage capacity in just 30 minutes.
The e-up! It is propelled by an electric motor with an 82 hp tip power (60 kW). Its continuous power is 55 hp (40 kW) and its maximum torque of 210 Nm is immediately available with the first revolution. Accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 14 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 135 km/h.
The integrated ion-lithium battery under the ground has a total energy storage capacity of 18.7 kilowatts per hour (kWh), which allows it to cover up to 150 km (according to the NEDC) with a single load thanks to its low weight of 1,185 kg.
The battery charge port in the E-UP! It is hidden behind the fuel tank cover. As an option, the combined load system (CCS) can be used, which has been standardized by Volkswagen and other manufacturers. It supports both DC and AC loads, so drivers can easily load their vehicles in most stations, both for fast loads (30min) and normal load.
