The new 500L has dimensions of 415 cm long, 178 cm wide, 166 cm high and 261 cm of wheelbase. It also has a habitable volume of 3.17 cubic meters and welcomes 5 passengers up to 2 meters high with its 5 suitcases and has 22 holder compartments and 400 liters of trunk in a position of the subsequent sliding seats very comfortable for the passenger (Percentile 95).
Security
The new 500L has a body designed according to the most modern criteria, with advanced elements of active and passive safety that place it among the best in its category.
The new 500L offers front airbags, curtain airbags and side airbags (as optional also has airbag for driver's knees), front headlights with daytime light (Daytime Running Lights) and, also as optional, Flages fogs with adaptive function in curves (self-adaptive cornering). Likewise, the ABS with braking assistant and sophisticated electronic stability control acting in conditions close to the limit are part of the standard equipment, when the stability of the vehicle is at risk, to help the driver control it.
Finally, the novel system "City Brake Control" deserves a separate mention. This innovative device is able to recognize the obstacles in front of the vehicle and stop automatically, when the driver does not act, to avoid collision.
