GMC, the Pickup Specialist brand, Crossovers and SUV's by General Motors, presents the New Acadia 2013, which in its new edition is presented with a renewed exterior design, greater versatility and improvements in security equipment.
The new GMC Acadia will be available in four different equipment packages: the SLT1 with leather seats and new 19 ”machined aluminum wheels; the SLT2" C "package that offers seats lined in perforated leather and 20” chrome aluminum wheels and capacity for 8 passengers; the SLT2 "D" package with the same characteristics as the "C" but with a configuration of seats for 7 passengers; and finally the top of the Acadia Denali range with 20 ”machined aluminum wheels, among other features.
Acadia 2013 offers a new interior with mild improved materials to the touch, French seams made by hand and environmental lighting in GMC characteristic that flows throughout the instrument board; Some versions have accents in pure aluminum in the central console, doors and board. New colors such as dark brown, dark cashmere and light gray are available. The exclusive SLID SMART SMART SLIDE is available in all packages, allowing easy access to the third row of seats, as well as adjust the position of the second row for more leg space.
As part of its equipment, Acadia 2013 offers the new GMC Intellilink Intellilink infotation system, a new platform created for customers looking for a new multimedia level. The system has Bluetooth that allows you to connect devices and synchronize smartphones content such as Internet radio applications. It also has a USB connection, auxiliary and allows the content of all devices to be operated on the LCD tactile screen of 6.5 inches of high resolution, through voice commands or by means of the steering wheel controls.
On the outside, Acadia 2013 shows changes such as the new design of fascias, moldings, splashes, grill and chest. The front and rear fascias are of the color of the body and has chrome moldings, as well as new headlight design with LED lights specifically placed in the form of C, giving it a futuristic perspective; The spoiler and rear lights are also LED. With the new exterior design, new colors will be offered: Atlantis blue, metallic champagne and metallic iridium.
6 -cylinder 3.6L engine technology with direct injection of Acadia helps produce energy similar to many V8 engines. This propeller develops 288 horsepower with a torque of 270 lb-pie. The engine is coupled a six-speed Hydra-Matic transmission. In some versions, 4 -wheel drive (All Wheel Drive) is available that helps a better grip on slippery roads.
In security, the 2013 Acadia Automobile incorporates a new front air bag, which in lateral impact events is deployed from the inner side of the driver's seat and is positioned between the driver and the front passenger, for greater protection. A new side obstacle sensor is also included.
