Volkswagen presents the new Bluegt pole that stands out at the technological level for including a new cylinder active management system.

The active "ACT" cylinder management system, which consists of the selective disconnection of two of the four cylinders available, specifically the second and third when the demand for power is reduced. This translates into a reduction in consumption by about 0.4 l/100 km, under low and medium load conditions. On the other hand, at a constant speed of 50 km/h in third or fourth march, consumption is reduced even to 1.0 l/100 km.

The BlueGT pole propeller is the powerful and efficient TSI 1.4 of 140 hp, which can be combined with a 6 -speed manual gearbox or a DSG of 7. With said propeller, sports characteristics are enhanced (acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and a tip of 210 km/h). All with a combined cycle consumption of 4.6 liters at 100 km (4.5 for the DSG gearbox) and CO2 emissions of only 107 g/km (105 with DSG). In this way, maximum efficiency is achieved without giving up the very high level of this pole. The efficient systems provided by Bluemotion Technologies also contribute significantly.

As for equipment, this new pole equips 17 -inch "qubak" light alloy wheels, a roof spoiler, modified bumpers (behind with diffuser), strokes and the chassis reduced by 15 mm. The interior equipment has the expanded multifunction screen, which includes the ACT indicators and control of the tire pressure, the cruise speed control "tempomat", the sports seats and the air conditioning. The "ESP" system, the front and side-side-rootal airbags, the electrohydraulic service and the electronic differential of limited sliding XDS.
