Volkswagen has presented the E-Bugster, a concept in which Beetle sportsmanship is combined with electric propulsion. The E-Bugster is a beetle-Speedster Biplaza of 85 kW of power that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 10.8 seconds with zero emissions and offers very attractive proportions. The electric heart of the e-bugster beats on the front and weighs only 80 kg.
The necessary energy to propel the electric motor is stored in a lithium ion battery whose modules are located behind the front seats to save space. The energy density of 28.3 kWh translates into a minimum urban autonomy of 180 kilometers, a more than sufficient distance to perform most daily displacements. The rapid cargo function of the batteries allows "E-Bugster to" refuel "in the load stations in just 35 minutes. It also allows you to use conventional current.
