"A truck that will enter the future." This is how Claes Nilsson, president of Volvo Trucks, summarizes the new versions of the Volvo FH and the Volvo FH16 that will be launched shortly and that you can see in the following video .

Volvo had never done so many tests between drivers and carriers. The result is a product that in addition to satisfying the current needs, offers benefits that nobody had enjoyed before in a truck.

"More than a car than a truck"
when designing the truck, Volvo has sought to optimize and facilitate its driving to launch the truck with the easiest driving on the market. To do this, it has introduced several structural improvements that contribute to the Volvo FH stability and flexibility. The brand, wanted to demonstrate it through a video where the balancer Faith Dickey walks on the tightrope between two trucks that circulate at 80 km/h.

"Revolutionary" front suspension
The new Volvo FH series includes a new independent front suspension system (individual front suspension) for heavy trucks, thanks to which the movement of one wheel does not affect the other. As the two wheels move individually, the result is a more fluid and regular advance on the road. The result? An increase in the feeling of precision and control.

"The IFS has been designed to revolutionize driving in the truck world. The Volvo FH with IFS will have the best behavior in the world on the road," says Martin Palming.

Launch on September 5,
the world presentation and the official launch of the Volvo FH series will take place on September 5 at 9:00 p.m. (GMT+1), in Gothenburg.
