Nissan officially presents the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 of 2013.
The 2012 GT-R Nissan GT3 model, which debuted in March, has achieved great victories worldwide. The GT3 has surpassed its rivals this year at the Super GT Series (GT 300 category), the Super Taikyu (GT3 category), the British GT championship and the GT Cup.
NISM has developed the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 of 2013 using the data acquired in these races, in addition to performing a track test and listening carefully to customer comments, with the aim of increasing their competitiveness and performance. The most important improvements have been made fundamentally in these sections:
- Motor, performance and reliability
- Aerodynamic performance
- Balance in braking
- Adequate suspensions to the new aerodynamic set
- Ratio of the optimized transmission to take advantage of the engine
The engine is the most contributing to performance improvement, including a new camshaft. In addition, the mobile pieces of the propeller have been reinforced to guarantee their reliability and several modifications have been made to improve aerodynamics: adding stabilizers on the front and expanding the front bumper grid. The rear wing post has also been optimized. These changes improve aerodynamic balance between the front and rear axes and increases aerodynamic load, which improves the overall performance of the car.
The 2013 GT-R Nissan GT3 model will be manufactured on demand. Orders will be accepted from November 13, 2012. If the number of orders is higher than the production capacity, NISM reserves the right to make the final decisions on compliance with orders.
In addition, Nismo is currently preparing an update kit for the 2012 GT-R Nissan GT3 model.
The sales and customer service of the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 will be carried out by Nismo for Japan, Asia, North America, South America and Oceania, while our collaborating partner, JRM, will perform said function in Europe, Russia and the Middle East, in the same way that it has done with the 2012 model.
